Tannie & Tannie Tour. Autumn 2019 & Spring 2020.

Tannie and Tannie are leaving. Escaping the damned earthquakes and the water that bursts into flame. The cantankerous aunties will leave their home – a place once strong and flat and stable – and embark on a journey – like their ancestors did before them. Before they go, there’s just time for a story or two about ghosts and gods and the bleddy British, then, off they’ll go on their trek. But. Not every trek can be a Great Trek.

Our tour is now ended. Tour dates were:

15th November 2019 – The Grove Hall, Stockingate, South Kirkby, Pontefract WF9 3QF

16th November 2019 – Staincross Church Hall, Greenside, Mapplewell, Barnsley S75 6GU

6th February 2020 – Theatre by The Lake, Lakeside, Lake Rd, Keswick CA12 5DJ

14th March 2020 The Cluntergate Centre, Cluntergate, Horbury, Wakefield, WF4 5DA

The tour was made possible through Arts Council England Funding. It was also supported by Kollider, The Merlin Theatre and Making Room at Sheffield Theatres.

Tannie & Tannie was first performed on Wednesday 14th and Thursday 15th November 2018 at DINA Venue, Sheffield with the support of DINA, Making Room at Sheffield Theatres and Third Angel.
